It is always an exciting time when we welcome a new client to our roster. We are chasing Account Manager talent for a Public Relations agency with offices in both Toronto and Montreal. The agency offers traditional public relations, digital and social media services to a portfolio of lifestyle, fashion, beauty brands. They are storytelling experts building connections with their audiences creating campaigns and programs for their stellar client base.

ABOUT THE ROLE

In this agency an Account Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of multiple accounts including the ideation and execution of innovative PR campaigns that drive results. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Develop, present and implement comprehensive PR strategies that align with client objectives
• Establish and maintain relationships with relevant media contacts; craft and drive outreach plans and facilitate media inquiries
• Demonstrate superior writing and editing skills
• Ideate and execute paid and earned influencer campaigns that meet plan objectives; effectively manage the relationships between the agency and influencer partners
• Assist in bringing client events and activations to life – demonstrate resourcefulness and creativity with planning, sourcing and logistics
• Contribute to media monitoring and reporting, track and analyze key metrics to measure effectiveness of strategies
• Collaborate with the social media team to optimize the communications strategy as a whole
• Assist in developing and managing client budgets
• Advise and counsel clients, regularly share expertise and relevant insights/trends
• Champion best practices
• Serve as an advisor to junior team members and key support to senior colleagues

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications or Public Relations
• 4-6 years of public relations experience
• Agency experience is highly preferred
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in both English and French
• Experience in media relations, social media, influencer relations and event management
• Detail-oriented, ability to multi-task and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in a Mac environment, tech savvy, AI literate

Our ideal candidate will have worked in a public relations agency, be fully bilingual in English and French, have traditional PR experience (media relations - this should be your strength, influencer, social media), has worked across a varied roster of clients in the fashion, beauty, lifestyle, foods, hospitality space.
