Company Description

1st Call Rentals is a full-line Tool and Heavy Equipment Rental company located in Burnaby, B.C. . We want to be our Customer's 1st Call for anything they may need to complete the scope of their work or project.

Role Description

This is a full-time Sales Position located in Burnaby, BC. You would be on the road three days per week making "in person" sales calls within the GVRD and two days in our office making cold calls to schedule sales meetings. You will be generating call sheets organizing and identifying potential leads and Industry opportunities. This is a salary plus commissions position within our Company. Your work hours are Monday to Friday from 7am to 5pm. You would be supplied with all the resources you need to be successful including a Company truck.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and team members
• Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to go above and beyond to meet our customers' needs
• A proven track record of sales success and the ability to meet sales goals and targets
• Experience in implementing and/or developing sales strategies
• Able to implement your tool and equipment knowledge into solutions for our customers
• A Sales or Management Diploma or a bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred
• 3+ years of direct sales experience
• Possess strong customer service & telephone skills
• Solid Computer Skills
• Familiarity with various types of construction/industrial tools & equipment
• A clean drivers abstract is required as you will be driving a Company truck

Note: Experience in the Rental Industry is a plus.

Compensation

This is a Salary plus Commission position with a base salary ranging from 50-70K per year, based on qualifications and past experience.
