Job description
Our telecom client, Bell Canada, is looking for a Bilingual Business Analyst for a long-term contract.
Key Responsibilities and Job Duties :
- Plan and facilitate work sessions with stakeholders and other team members
- Develop and analyze business requirements documentation
- Development of operational processes
- Create System Requirements Specifications (SRS) to enable project development and implementation
- Review System Design Specifications (SDS) to ensure design conforms to SRS
- Develop a verification (testing) strategy, verification plan, use cases and test cases to ensure that all system development is in accordance with the project scope and requirements of the company.
- Implementation of success measures and follow-ups with the various stakeholders to ensure that they are met
- The results of the needs definition and analysis will be obtained through the development of a solid partnership with the various team members impacted by the projects.
- Create or support the creation of deployment plans, as needed
- Participate in the post-deployment support phase (standardization)
- Identify risks and constraints that may negatively impact clients and help develop mitigation and change management plans
Key Competencies and Experience :
- French and English bilingualism
- Extensive experience managing all aspects of projects
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, strong sense of urgency

- Understanding of service design principles an asset
- Ability to support and manage multiple competing activities and changing priorities
- Post-secondary education, either a university or college diploma or equivalent experience
- Three to five years of experience in a business analyst position related to project management
- Experience managing people indirectly to achieve common goals
- In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Certification in change management, an asset (Prosci or other)
- Knowledge of telecommunications products and services, an asset
