Job description
Tradesmen International is looking for A Welder Journeyman to join our team.
This job is in Vancouver Area. Starting as soon as possible.
Paying $35-$45 per HR. DOE
Job Scope:
- Maintaining equipment, such as drills, saws, arcs and clamps
- Following safety and cleaning protocols
- Supervising welding teams
- Ensuring the use of safety equipment, such as personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Welding metal parts to follow specifications
- Assessing weight capacities of structures and parts
- Designing parts and joints for projects
- Repairing damaged structures and parts like structural beams
- Reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
- Measuring and cutting metal components to required specifications
- Inspecting completed welds for defects and ensuring structural integrity
- Operating heavy equipment, such as cranes and forklifts, to move materials and components
- Collaborating with other tradespeople, such as engineers and construction laborers, to ensure the team meets the project requirements
Requirement:
- CWB Valid Certificate
- Fall Protection Certificate
- AWP Certificate
- WHMIS Certificate
- More than 3 years of experience as a welder (Structural Steel)
