Job description

• You will have an opportunity to work with a leading employer in the local market.

Responsibilities
• Gather and analyze business requirements in order to develop comprehensive user stories.
• Directly interface with various business units and subject matter experts to understand their business needs, focusing on identifying issues with existing applications and potential areas for optimization.
• Collaborate closely with the development team, providing clarification and context to business requirements, assisting in problem-solving, and ensuring that the teams understanding aligns with desired business outcomes.
• Create and Maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, systems, and business requirements.
• Participate in writing test cases and conducting rigorous testing to ensure the effectiveness of new features and updates.
• Thoroughly analyze technical and operational issues. Business Analyst will use their expertise to provide well-reasoned recommendations for problem resolution, process improvement, and system enhancements.

Qualifications
• 4-6 years of Business Analysis experience
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role in application development
• Understanding of systems engineering concepts.
• Proven ability to multitask and manage multiple project deadlines.
• Ability to map out complex operational processes
• Supply Chain background is an asset but not Mandatory
• Strong written and oral communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, must be extremely detail oriented.
• Previous experience with JIRA, Confluence, Wireframing
• Experience in data analytics, tracking, reporting tools - SQL, Tableau, Microsoft Access
• Strong business acumen related to Retail/Supply Chain
• Agile methodology is an asset
• PMP and / or CBAP is an asset
