Therapeutic Recreation Assistant (TRA)
Location: 1 Jim Flaherty St., Whitby, ON
Assignment: 8 weeks (37.5 hours/week)
Pay Rate: $17.50/hour
Start Date: June 24, 2024
End Date: August 16, 2024

The Position:
Reporting to the Supervisor team of the Therapeutic Recreation department, the Therapeutic Recreation Assistant (TRA) is responsible for preparation and implementation of a variety of recreational programs for individuals with and without disabilities. The Therapeutic Recreation Assistant (TRA) will work with Therapeutic Recreation Specialists to educate individuals and facilitate programs/activities that improve and enhance their overall health, connect with their community, and improve well-being and quality of life through meaningful recreation and leisure activities.
