Bookkeeper Extraordinaire Wanted!

Location: Keele and Finch - fully onsite but they will offer flexible hours!

As a crucial member of their team, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining financial integrity and compliance while contributing to the success of a well-established company.

Financial Responsibility: Manage expenditures for clients and help recover up to $50,000 per month.

Versatile Skills: Put your Quickbooks, payroll, AP, and AR skills to the test while providing top-notch bookkeeping services.

Year-End Focus: Year-end responsibilities take center stage in April.

Responsibilities
As the Bookkeeper at Randstad's client, you'll be responsible for a range of vital tasks:

Detailed Data Entry: Utilize your Quickbooks Online (QBO) expertise to perform meticulous data entry.

Financial Wizardry: Handle day-to-day accounting activities, including recording financial transactions, managing accounts payable and receivable, performing bank reconciliations, and generating information for year-end financial statements.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with essential regulatory requirements, such as GST/HST and payroll taxes.

Accountant Liaison: Collaborate seamlessly with the accountant in preparing financial statements.

Qualifications
To excel in this role, you'll need:

QBO Mastery: An advanced knowledge of QuickBooks Online and bookkeeping principles and procedures.

Communication Savvy: Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.

Organization Skills: Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.

Tech Proficiency: Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Ethical Integrity: High standards of ethics and confidentiality to handle sensitive financial information.

Clean Slate: A clean criminal background – police clearance required.

Mandatory Experience: Experience dealing with multiple trust accounts.
