Job description

Randstad Staffing, Canada's #1 Staffing Firm is actively recruiting for an administrative assistant for contract that could lead to long term in Halifax. The successful candidate will start immediately

The Office Administrator is responsible for providing administrative support to
colleagues; they will work closely with related departments, their employees,
and executive team members. This individual will lead the planning,
coordination, and execution of several administrative activities

Responsibilities
requires an exceptionally organized, motivated administrative professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining order and compliance. In this role, the Office Administrator must be able to multitask, be a self-starter, and be result-oriented.
The successful candidate will be technically savvy and comfortable learning new technologies, or software applications, to manage company needs. The candidate will contribute to organizational and corporate goals, while also managing day-to-day operational responsibilities to ensure the smooth daily operation of the company.


Qualifications
Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, with an aptitude to learn standard firm software and other relevant applicants and technical/office equipment
Ability to multi-task and meet multiple and/or unexpected deadlines in a demanding environment
Demonstrates sound judgment regarding confidential and strong problem-solving skills
Strong client service focus in dealing with both external and internal clients, displaying an image of professionalism, discretion, integrity and tact.
The ability to work well both independently and in a team environment, by creating a positive working atmosphere.
Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities.
Demonstrates a high level of initiative striving to create a more efficient and compliant environment
