We are currently seeking a Dynamics 365 CE Technical Architect (Remote) to join our team in Victoria , British Columbia (CA-BC) , Canada (CA) .

NTT DATA, Inc. currently seeks a Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE Senior Solution/Technical Architect to join our team for our large public sector. In this role you will work with our team of functional consultants and developers along with the client’s technical team to investigate and remediate Microsoft Dynamics CE (CRM) applications; you will work to analyze, recommend, and oversee the application of good Dynamics coding practices and pipeline management; play the leading role in architecting, designing, and overseeing the development of Dynamics enhancements; work with our other architects to ensure cross-application integrations are architected, designed, and managed with security and privacy in mind. All work is currently remote, but occasional travel may be necessary. Our client is in the Pacific Time Zone –scheduled meetings will necessitate availability during business hours, and non-schedule work can be performed to meet work-life needs.

Day-to-day duties and responsibilities:

• Leverage technical expertise to architect Dynamics CE-based solutions
• Technical support for existing client solutions and development of new features both at a technical and functional level
• Assess scope and requirements and recommend appropriate solutions
• Effectively communicate with clients, project leaders, delivery teams and business partners to ensure timely and high-quality delivery
• Elicit technical, operational and user requirements
• Participate in all phases in the project lifecycle on new initiatives for the client
• Create technical and solution documentation for the project/support team and clients
• Develop relationships with cross-functional delivery teams to ensure strong client relationships and solution delivery
• Hands-on development of solutions as per specification
• Remediation of support tickets
• Report to account delivery leaders and client teams

Qualifications:

Technical

• Understanding industry standard best practices for Dynamics 365 CE for both on-premises and cloud solutions
• Architecting complex solutions within the on-premises environment.
• Experience in configuration of Dynamics 365 and strong awareness of customization components (Plug-ins, JavaScript) as well as WebAPI and SSIS is required.
• Previous experience in custom development within the context of Dynamics 365 CE on-premises, is expected. This includes:

• • .NET and C# development with CRM API, REST/ODATA and SOAP endpoints
  • ADO.NET, ASP.NET, Windows Communication and Workflow Foundations, JS and HTML
  • Object-oriented design and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
  • Server-side code, custom business logic, integration modules, workflow assemblies and plug-ins
• Strong experience and skill integrating with MS SharePoint

Non-Technical 

• Familiar with core Microsoft offerings
• Proposal writing, product demonstration and presentations
• Consulting experience working with external clients
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to work with minimal oversight
• Candidate must reside in the Pacific time zone or have a firm commitment to work the significant majority of Pacific time zone business hours
• Seven (7) years Dynamics experience with a four (4) year post-secondary degree program OR  Ten (10) years Dynamics experience with a Two (2) year diploma program

Nice to have

• Experience with Dynamics Cloud including Dynamics 365 CE, Power Platform (Power Portals, Canvas/Model-driven apps, Power Automate, Power Virtual Agents and Power BI) and the Dataverse
• Experience with Dynamics on-prem to cloud migration.
• Experience integrating Dynamics with custom portal solutions
• Experience in working with the Public Sector
