Job Duties:
- Direct, train, coordinate and supervise employees engaged in sales, taking inventory, reconciling cash receipts, or in performing services for customers
- Prepare work schedules for sales worker and assign duties
- Maintaining inventory, order merchandise and ensuring items are in stock
- Ensuring store displays and signage are attractive and neat
- Understand customer needs and respond to customer inquiries and complaints
- Monitor sales activities to ensure that customers receive satisfactory service and quality goods
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Track business performance periodically, prepare reports of sale and purchase of merchandise and ensure that sales targets are met
- May perform certain managerial duties if required, such as opening and closing the store,
- managing complaints, developing and implementing marketing strategies, contacting vendors, signing for deliveries
- Knowledge to use information technology to advertise business, to connect with clients, entering and tracking merchandise and to record sales will be an asset
