Volvo of Halifax is seeking a Red Seal Technician/3rd, 4th Year Apprentice Technicians to join our team!

Qualifications:

• Passionate about the automotive industry
• Well organized, possess a good work ethic and a positive attitude
• Hard working, self-motivated and have excellent time management skills
• Have a valid driver's license and be able to provide an acceptable driver's abstract
• Have a valid Motor Vehicle Inspection License
• Must be Red Seal Certified

Responsibilities:

• Inspect, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems as required
• Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's performance specifications
• Advise customers on work performed, general vehicle condition and future repair requirements
• Diagnose faults and confirm findings with the supervisor
• Complete reports to record problems and work performed
• Facial hair will interfere with the ability to achieve a proper seal on CSA-approved respirators; therefore, it is a requirement that staff must be clean-shaven. If you are unable to maintain a clean shave where the respirator seals to the face for any reason, please inform us in the form of a request for accommodation.

Earning Potential Red Seal Technicians: $58,000 - 80,000+ Annually

Earning Potential Apprentice Technicians: $35,000 - $65,000 Annually
