Job description

A well-diverse company, located in La Prairie, with multiple specialties is seeking a Logistics Coordinator for their container division. The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for the coordination of orders.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze the RFI (requests for information) and RFQ (Request for quotations) to decide which carrier is best to use
- Create and update shipping plans and schedules, coordinate routes with carriers
- Prepare all shipping information and documentations
- Maintain communication between customers, forwarders and carriers
- Review invoices and documentations
- Ensure delivery deadlines are met


Qualifications
- At least 3 to 5 years' experience as a logistics coordinator or dispatcher
- Bilingualism (French and English)
- Significant experience in transportation
- Ability to prioritize
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Posses strong customer service skills
