ABOUT THE ROLE 

Brodie League is looking for a Content Manager to lead Brodie’s video and storytelling operations with the goals of supporting league registration campaigns with content, growing our social media followings across platforms, building the brand, and scaling current content creation operations by improving related systems, technology, and people. This is a full time role that will report to the Senior Operations Manager in person in Burlington, Ontario with flexibility to work from home. This person should be proactive, innovative and passionate about changing adult sports forever.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Creating content : Idea generation, storyboarding, planning, execution, curating, publishing, analysis, and iteration. Hands on leadership and resource management.  Desired verticals are:  

• Tactical shorts (e.g. League, facility, event, and player hype videos, interviews, etc.) 
• Storytelling campaigns (e.g. Elaborate and dramatized storylines focused on topics like company story, in-league rivalries between teams, staff storylines, special player storylines, office docu-dramas, current events as they relate to the league, capitalizing on trends)
• Expansion support (Video support of league expansion operations)

Managing people:

• On-site videographers & photographers league-wide
• Full-time staff video editor (Direct report)
• Contract graphic content creators 
• Other as requested given sufficient justification 

Reporting : Weekly KPI reports on production, engagement, views, follower count, feedback, etc. 

Organizing : Implement a content management system to improve creative output, assignments, and ensure each player is featured in league content 

Building systems: Build a player content system and flow to ensure players can easily find, download, and make their own mixes (including evaluation of technology and people, process, and system requirements) 

Setting standards: Establishing and upholding creative standards and goals

REQUIREMENTS

• Leadership: Fostering an environment of continuous learning through personal behaviors and peer-to-peer learning. 
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely.
• Meticulous attention to detail with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Innovative thinker with the ability to bring fresh ideas to workshop planning.
• Upbeat attitude with the  ability to work in a fast-paced environment with lots of autonomy
• Ability to remain reachable and responsive via phone, as needed, to provide timely support and address any urgent matters that may arise outside of regular working hours.

SALARY

• $60,000 - $65,000 CAD
