What is the opportunity?
The Wealth Management Canada Communication team collaborates with business partners to provide strategic communications advice, delivering national communication strategies for Dominion Securities, PH&N Investment Counsel and Wealth Management Canada. We develop internal communications strategies that raise awareness, build understanding, increase productivity and collaboration, help influence change, and drive business by unlocking employee engagement.
What will you do?
Oversee and manage editorial content strategy and act as editor in chief for Wealth Management Canada news
Develop internal communications campaigns for critical business initiatives, identifying key themes and opportunities to create synergies in our storytelling
Act as the first point of contact to business partners looking for internal communications consultancy
Uphold communications and web writing standards across Wealth Management Canada news
Collaborate with our digital communications partners to develop creative solutions for engaging our audiences
Manage our curated advisor enablement newsletter, providing client facing content to help advisors grow their business
Analyze data and analytics to help tell the internal communications team’s value proposition
Manage and develop end-to-end internal communications strategies for key business initiatives
What do you need to succeed?
Must Have:
A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience and post secondary degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to reach the hearts and minds of audiences through compelling storytelling
A strong project management mindset, with the ability to deliver on deadline both as an individual contributor, and as part of a team
The ability to understand complex subject matter and distill it into communications that are simple and easy to understand
Proven experience providing communications counsel to business partners and senior executives
An entrepreneurial and adaptable mindset
A skilled strategic and critical thinker
Innovative and creative
Nice to have:
Experience in the financial services industry – preferably Wealth Management
