Job description
Distex, a wholesaler of commercial kitchen equipment, has more than 30 years of experience offering merchandizing and equipment solutions to clients across Canada. We recently have opened our new facility in Langley BC, and we are looking for dedicated and committed candidates willing to grow within our team.
Position Description
The Customer Service Representative position serves as the link of communication between clients, sales representatives, the warehouse team, and transporters. Customer service representatives are also the front image of our company. They play a very important role in our business by being team players and supporting the overall process.
Responsibilities :
· Maintaining a positive, empathetic and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
· Responding promptly to customer inquiries.
· Communicating with customers through various channels.
· Answering client questions about credit terms, products, prices and availability.
· Knowing our products inside and out to answer client questions.
· Processing orders, forms, applications, and requests.
· Confirm orders with clients and warehouses.
· Coordinate between the warehouse and our Head Office.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound freight with the warehouse and transporters.
· Support the sales reprensentatives on the road.
· Keeping records of customer interactions and transactions.
· Communicating and coordinating with colleagues as necessary.
· Providing feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process.
· Maintain customer profiles and database information up to date.
· Follow up with delivery and ensure invoicing is done promptly.
· Track client orders with carriers or freight forwarders.
: Any other task assigned by manager.
Position requirements:
· Diploma or Certificate in a business-related field;
· Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
· Experience working with customer support in an office environment.
· Comfortable using computers (Office 365), SAP Business One knowledge an asset.
· Basic accounting knowledge an asset
· Experience with courriers
· Understanding of the sales process and dynamics.
· A commitment to providing excellent customer service.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Expected hours: 40 per week, Monday to Friday.
