Supply provides a variety of high-quality hard goods and fresh florals to florists, independent, and mass market retailers.

What do we expect of you?

We are seeking a full-time Business Development Manager to join our sales team at Florists Supply. This individual

will be responsible for overseeing and executing various sales initiatives to promote our products and services. As a Business Development Manager, you will play a crucial part in shaping our brand and driving our market penetration in Southern Alberta.

What will you do?

· Provide exceptional customer service and build relationships through a customer focused selling process. We treat our customers like family.

· Identify, research, and develop new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, products, and services.

·  Exhibit passion for customer success by maintaining and applying a high level of product and market knowledge towards problem solving for your customers' unique needs.

· Work collaboratively with multiple departments such as purchasing, marketing and operations.

· Achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales budgets.

·  Other duties as assigned.

What do you need to succeed?

· Experience in the floral industry an asset.

· 5+ years of B2B business development experience.

· Entrepreneurial spirit, energetic and self-motivated.

· Highly coachable team player with an appetite for learning.

· Ability to provide exceptional customer service.

· Experience working with a value-driven sales approach.

·Outstanding relationship builder with strong sales, influencing and negotiating skills.

· Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

· Superior verbal and written communication skills.

· Ability to work independently, take initiative, and collaborate with a team prioritizing group needs over individual needs.

· Enthusiastic and goal-driven with exceptional ability to multi-task.

· Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word), and embrace new technology.

· Post-secondary education in business-related field an asset.

· Travel is required with this position. Based on the geography, approximately 40% per month can be expected.
