Hays has partnered with a general contractor and construction management firm out of the West Greater Toronto Area who specialize in renovations (commercial interiors) and additions. They have been around for 25+ years and have grown into a mid-sized, well-established and reputable firm in the area.
Your new role
The open role is for a Project Manager to join the team, reporting to the Director of Project Management. This individual will manage projects from inception to completion while maintaining the budget and within the timelines laid out with the client. They will oversee the project life cycle, manage the project schedule and lead the site construction team, while providing timely status reports to stakeholders.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have at least 7 years of experience managing ICI construction projects in the Greater Toronto Area. The majority of these projects will be commercial interior / tenant fit-out type projects. They will have strong organizational and project management skills with vast industry knowledge and the ability to read blueprints. They will be strong communicators both orally and written, be detail-oriented, and have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
What you'll get in return
Base salary, bonus, vacation and electronic package will be part of the remuneration for this successful Project Manager candidate.
