Current job opening for In-shop Heavy Duty Instrument Mechanic in Delta and Abbotsford, BC!

Work for a currently expanding team, looking to hire a HD Instrumentation Mechanic who will work closely with our Lead Hand and Service Manager to follow an inspections & repair plan for equipment returned to the shop from our customers. And 1 Field Technician who will work closely with the Lead Hand and Service Manager to follow any inspections and repair plans for equipment currently in the field. This role requires daily travel between our current job sites, often working alone and assisting in the yard at times in our shop. Apply Now!

Shift: Days with OT, very little weekends
Shift Time: 6:00am-2:30pm
Wage offered: $40-$48.88 (depending on certification)
This is not a transit accessible location, license required
Company vehicle offered for field position. gas provided

Responsibilities
-Conduct regular inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on our fleet of rental equipment, demonstrating precision, speed, and care.
-Perform welding and fabrication as necessary
-Accurately complete work orders and provide timely quotes for customer repairs, demonstrating professionalism and efficiency
-Return repaired equipment promptly and in a clean and well-maintained condition, ready for the next rental or job.

Qualifications
-At least 3-5 years of experience with heavy equipment, preferably with material handling and aerials experience
-5+ years experience preferred for our field technicians
-Knowledge and experience in hydraulic, electrical (AC and DC), and mechanical systems
-Red Seal Accreditation will be considered an asset
-Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record
-You are located in the Delta or Abbotsford, BC area
