Job description
Working from our Burnaby Facility, the Showroom/Customer Service Representative position provides excellent Customer Service to our internal & external Customers and promotes inside sales from our showroom.
Available positions: 1-year maternity leave contract
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Answer all incoming phone calls.
- Completing & answering all emailed inquiries/orders in a timely manner.
- Meet & exceed customers’ expectations at all times by resolving issues as quickly & efficiently as possible.
- Positively support the company with productive input on issues and problem resolution.
- Provide detailed follow-up on all orders ensuring that the customer receives updates where applicable (ETA’s etc.).
- Ensure all orders are entered/updated accurately & provide detailed notes where applicable.
- Assist the sales team with monthly follow-up on orders to ensure orders stay current & updated.
- Helping all customers with their selections in the showroom & providing them with samples.
- Entering all customers information into shared excel showroom tracker.
- Maintaining & updating showroom display boards.
- Maintaining sample inventory & staying on top of sample replenishment.
- Assist sales with sample ship outs/customer inquiries.
- Maintaining & promoting clearance area.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong oral & written communication
- Strong computer skills: Microsoft Office (Word/Power-point/Excel) & Outlook.
- Ability to multi-task & maintain staying organized.
- High attention to detail
- Strong listening & telephone skills
- Ability to problem-solve and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma
- Customer service/call center experience, preferably in a distribution environment
- Order/data entry
- Showroom assistance/design background would be an asset
Position offers competitive wages & a comprehensive benefit package upon completion of 3-month probation period.
Hours: 8:00am – 4:30pm, Monday – Friday (some Saturdays potentially when required)
