Job description

This is a contract position for a Systems Analyst for our public sector client.
Work location: North York
Duration: Twelve Months
7.25 hours/day
This is a Hybrid role that requires the candidate to be onsite 3 days of the week (This is a mandatory requirement of the role and is non-negotiable outside of exceptional circumstances.)

Responsibilities
· Strong technical development background and experience in resolving complex business and application problems
· Experienced candidate with strength in analyzing system problems, designing solutions, implementing changes and configuring and installing software
· Hands on experience in .NET framework, Office 365, Excel with embedded macros and SharePoint, Azure cloud technology, Microsoft SQL Server & Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio and working knowledge of all aspects of Windows Servers
· Working knowledge of monitoring and notifications in Azure Cloud, creating notifications scripts, changing monitoring capabilities as per the operations needs, troubleshooting and performing analysis of the solutions logs

· Experience in development, support & maintenance of real-time and near real-time data processing services

Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in supporting, maintaining mission critical applications
- Experience analyzing business requirements to determine viable options for solution development and ensure implementation addresses key issues, business strategic objectives and end to end solution design
- Demonstrated experience in responding to and troubleshooting issues related to data quality and performance and resolve them in a timely manner
- Knowledge of Computer Aided Dispatch systems (CAD)
