The ideal candidate demonstrates a diligent and proactive work ethic, excelling both independently and in team environments. They possess the ability to offer creative insights and design brand aesthetics, including typography, layout, imagery, and dynamic visuals. Moreover, they have expertise in web design details, SEO, functionality, and mobile-first design, navigating the delicate balance between SEO and design adeptly.
Responsibilities:
Innate creativity, concept generation is second nature, occasionally utilizing pencil and pen for wireframes and initial thoughts.
A high proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, WordPress, and Figma.
A deep understanding of brand identity, typographic theories, color theory, web standards, and the creation of design systems and use of brand standards.
Ability to design responsive websites, PPC LPs, and site templates across various devices, with a grasp of mobile-first design fundamentals.
A superb portfolio of work, both great layouts and great concepts.
Executing all things digital is second nature, banners, email campaigns, social media campaigns, corporate design, posters, etc.
Comprehension of creative and marketing objectives for each assigned project.
Self-management of workload and hours to meet project deadlines.
Collaboration with the Creative Director and the extended web design team to optimize web functionality, web design, site architecture, user interface, and navigation is a core job.
Sourcing innovative images to support online creative.
Maintaining absolute accuracy and attention to detail throughout the creative and production process.
Continuous research to stay abreast of best practices in the technology industry, as well as new and emerging technologies such as AI.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor of Arts Degree in Graphic Design or related fields (Visual Arts, Communications, Computer Science, Art) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Passion for user-centered design, acquired in a relevant professional creative environment, with demonstrable experience in visual design across multiple platforms and devices.
A plus if experienced in A/B testing and optimization.
Setting and maintaining project specifications and efficiencies, along with creating and refining processes and workflows.
Managing workflow and project timelines for assigned web design projects with the assistance of the Project Manager and Creative Director.
Occasional provision of design and production support for clients requiring print-related work such as booths, posters, postcards, etc.
Having some experience in the Optical or Aesthetics industry is a plus.
9-5 ET position, Monday to Friday, Remote.
