Please note this role will work in a hybrid environment. The successful candidate must be located near a Canadian Blood Services site and will be working a mixture of on-site and off-site work based on the parameters for our operations to meet the needs of our donors, our staff and our communities. Currently, employees are expected to have an in-person presence for at least 40% of their work time. This requirement may vary depending upon circumstances.

About the role
Canadian Blood Services is looking for a Regular Full-time Program Manager, Partners for Life , to join our dynamic National Development team.


The National Development team is responsible for establishing and delivering a comprehensive fundraising and partner engagement program to support the strategic priorities of Canadian Blood Services. The team works collaboratively and diligently to engage donors and partners in supporting patients through the many ways to give to Canada’s Lifeline.


Reporting to the Associate Director, Partnerships and Sponsorship, you will be responsible for overseeing and implementing the Partners for Life (PFL) program, a national program that encourages team engagement in a broad range of activities to support the organization’s mission, including biological product donations, fundraising, participation on national registries (stem cell and organ/ tissue donation) and advocacy. You will leverage your expertise in corporate and community engagement and recognition, as well as peer-to-peer activation, to deliver a premier program for engaging corporate and community groups in Canadian Blood Services’ mission and supporting national and regional objectives related to the collections of biological products, revenue generation, partnership engagement and brand awareness. You will be an ambassador of the organization’s multi-product ambition, delivering an engagement program that allows groups to seamlessly navigate and engage in the many ways to give to Canadian Blood Services.


You will be a skilled communicator and collaborator, successful in working with a diverse group of internal stakeholders to design, deliver, and implement complex, multi-faceted programs, and initiatives. In partnership with the Associate Director, Partnerships and Sponsorship you will consistently evaluate program health and establish models and targets for annual and multi-year growth.
