Are you passionate about software testing and quality assurance? Do you want to join a dynamic and innovative team that works on a cutting-edge platform? If so, you might be the Quality Assurance Analyst we are looking for! As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you join our dynamic and agile development team to ensure the quality and reliability of our platform. Reporting to the QA Team Lead You will use various tools and technologies to perform the manual and automated testing of our web and mobile solutions. 

 

Responsibilities As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products, you will:
•    Troubleshoot and resolve issues by analyzing, documenting, and prioritizing bug reports.
•    Design and execute tests by defining, implementing, and maintaining a testing suite that covers test plans, smoke tests, landing tests, functional tests, and regression tests.
•    Create and document test scenarios that cover various use cases and user stories.
•    Collaborate with the project team by participating in the quality assurance, manual and automated testing effort, configuring and preparing testing environments, assisting the quality assurance and development team to be more efficient, participating in software releases, and applying software development processes and policies defined by the development management team.

Requirements To be a successful candidate, you should have:
•    A college diploma in software development or equivalent experience.
•    A minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance or software development.
•    A general knowledge of the software development cycle and agile methodology.
•    A good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
•    A knowledge of Katalon, Postman, REST APIs, and XML, Json, JavaScript, html, C# and SQL languages, as an asset.
•    A good command of written and spoken French.

Location: This is an remote opportunity with occassional visit on-site at our Sorel-Tracy office #LI-Remote.
