We are looking for experienced individuals with an interest in maintaining, repairing and troubleshooting older manufacturing equipment. We are looking for someone organized that can keep track of and perform preventative maintenance and suggest or recommend proper adjustments or new parts where needed. We offer a large amount of training and growth in this permanent opportunity so we are looking for someone who wants to work long-term and stay closer to home! This job can be a bit dirty as you will be working in an operational warehouse style facility and interacting with chemicals and metals, different weights and a variety of new and much older machines. We need someone who is patient and passionate about their work, who is willing to learn and take their time. Shift: Days or afternoons offered by preference!
Shift Time: Day Shift (6:00am-2:30pm), or Afternoons (2:00pm-10:00pm) -- graveyard may be available in the future (11:00pm-6:30am)
Wage offered: Up to $45.90 for Red Seal to start
This is a transit accessible location but license preferred

Responsibilities
- Repair, Maintain and Troubleshoot new to very old manufacturing machines
- Learn and absorb the ins and outs of our equipment to offer preventative maintenance where applicable
- Work in sometimes unideal situations such as with extreme temperatures, dusty areas, or sometimes physically demanding projects
- Open to working with a team, we are very close and would love for you to join us
- Keep areas clean and organized for shift rotation and job pickups
- Equipment commissioning to company standards
- Keep track or log machines progress, outputs, or maintenance needs
Qualifications
- Background in Steel or Food Manufacturing preferred
- 3rd Year apprentice or Red Seal Certified preferred
- Experience with preventative maintenance on large equipment
- Ability to learn and keep your patience with older machines
- Ability to work in hot or cold environments, and can keep up with the other physical demands
- Exhibits a passion for repairs, and troubleshooting machines and active equipment
- Located in or around the Richmond, BC area
