Job description
Maple Walls & Ceiling Ltd. is looking for 1 drywall installer for their business located at 14740 89A Ave Surrey BC, V3R 7Z9. This job is full time with 8 hours a day and 40 hours per week.
Drywall Installer have the following duties to perform:
- Fasten drywall panels to the inside framework of building.
- Screw panels to wood or metal framework and use a lift to place ceiling panels.
- Read blueprints, measure, cut ,fit and fasten panels.
- Prepare panels by sawing, drilling, or cutting holes in panels for electrical outlets, air-conditioning units, and plumbing.
- Fill joints in-between panels with spackle and smooth away excess material.
- Apply drywall to walls or ceilings and sand areas after each coating.
- Prepare panels for painting by taping or finishing joints and smooth out imperfections.

Job Requirements:
- Completion of high school is required
- 2-4 years of work experience is required
- English as a language skill is required
What we offer:
- $28.00 per hour
- 4% vacation pay
- Terms of Employment: Full time, Permanent
