Job description

As a QA Analyst with our client, you’ll receive:
- Highly competitive market hourly rates
- A 6 month contract with a strong probability of extension

Responsibilities
What will you do?
We are looking for a dedicated QA Analyst to be responsible for designing and implementing test plans to improve the quality and usability of our internal products. The QA Analyst works with the development team to debug code, correct errors, and troubleshoot any issues with software code.
A successful QA Analyst should be hard-working, have a strong working knowledge of software code and testing methodologies, and be a team player.

- Review and analyse system specifications.
- Collaborate with SDETs to develop effective strategies and test plans.
- Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyse results.
- Evaluate product code according to specifications.
- Create Jira logs to document testing phases and defects.
- Report bugs and errors to development teams.
- Help troubleshoot issues.
- Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Qualifications
Qualifications
Professional
- Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester/Analyst or similar role.
- Experience in project management and QA methodology.
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks.
- Working knowledge of test management software (TestRail, Zephyr).
- Excellent communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude.
- Strong organizational skills.

Technical
- Jira experience
- SQL
- API testing ( request, REST, SOAP)
- Postman

Preferred Qualifications
- Java test automation experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in black, white box and grey box testing methodologies.
