LOCATION: Hybrid Model – when working onsite, you will report to the location of City Hall.

SALARY GRADE: 5

SALARY RANGE: 1 ST STEP: $62,662.60 per annum

2 ND STEP: $66,029.60 per annum

JOB RATE: $69,396.60 per annum

JOB TYPE: Union

AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY:

 

Reporting to the Manager, Development Services, the Planning Technician is responsible for providing front-line technical support to the Division, including responding to Planning-related inquiries, conducting research and fieldwork, attending and organizing meetings and public planning events, and other divisional support to support departmental studies and projects and within the Division. Also responsible for processing applications including Consent, Minor Variance, routine Site Plan, Part lot Control and/or heritage applications.
