Job description
3V Mechanical is looking for a project manager to join our team. Founded in 2000, we are a full-service mechanical contractor with in-house HVAC/R, Sheet Metal, and Plumbing. We work mainly on ICI projects completing Fit-Ups, Replacements, and New Builds. The Project Manager works closely with the construction team, together they plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate construction projects from start to finish according to schedule, specifications and budget.
Duties and responsibilities include but are lot limited to • Manage and provide scheduling, planning, organizing of labour, subcontractors and materials • Ensure company safety policy is adhered to on all projects • Liaison with project owners, architects and engineers, general contractors, subcontractors, and tradespersons • Monitor and increase labour productivity • Responsible for Cost forecasting • Represent company in project meetings and attend strategy meetings • Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates as required • Review work/contracts/WIP for areas of risk and correct deficiencies

Education requirements Degree or Diploma in • Trade Certificate/license • Construction Management an asset
Work experience requirements • 5 plus years’ experience in construction industry
Knowledge and Understanding Of • Contract management • Construction scheduling, planning, and execution • Blueprint reading • Established mechanical practices, procedures, and techniques • Applicable local and provincial construction codes
