About the role:
We are actively recruiting an experienced Freight Forwarding Operation Specialist to join our team and play a pivotal role in serving our clients and expanding our business. In this role, you will be overseeing and managing the efficient movement of goods internationally, particularly focusing on logistics operations in China. Responsibilities include coordinating shipments, communicating with clients and stakeholders, resolving logistical issues, and optimizing processes to ensure timely delivery while adhering to regulations. The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in freight forwarding, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to changing logistical demands.
This is a Full-time Remote position.

Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, with a strong preference for candidates who have specialized experience in freight forwarding operations.
Good command of Chinese & English language would be an advantage as required in the China time zone.
Prompt response meeting the KPI’s of each shipment record tracking and updates within 24 hours. Ensuring all the stakeholders provide the information as per NTMK’s protocols and SOPs.
In-depth knowledge of international shipping regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements, consolidation operations at origin and destination, particularly within the context of China-related logistics.
Proficiency in coordinating and managing logistical operations, including scheduling shipments, tracking cargo, and resolving any issues or delays that may arise.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients, carriers, customs officials, and other stakeholders involved in the shipping process.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced freight forwarding environment.
Responsibilities (but are not limited to):
Coordinate and oversee the end-to-end freight forwarding process, including booking shipments, arranging transportation, and managing documentation for international shipments, ensuring compliance with regulations and client requirements.
Liaise with clients, suppliers, carriers, and customs officials to facilitate smooth shipment transactions, address inquiries, and resolve any logistical issues or delays promptly.
Monitor and track shipments in transit, providing regular updates to clients and stakeholders regarding the status of deliveries, anticipated arrival times, and any potential disruptions.
Optimize logistical processes and workflows to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall performance in freight forwarding operations, leveraging industry best practices and technological solutions where applicable.
Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reporting related to freight forwarding activities, including tracking shipments, preparing shipping manifests, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
