Job description
BCIT's *School of Construction and the Environment* is seeking a *temporary, full-time (1.0 FTE) BCGEU Faculty, Boilermaker* to teach in our Boilermaker program . Boilermaking includes tank erection, boiler house upgrades and heavy industrial rigging. BCIT is one of Canada’s largest post-secondary institutes, with more than 45,000 students enrolled in certificate, diploma, apprenticeship and degree programs. Responsibilities include: instruction to apprentice or entry-level students; preparing and presenting classroom lectures; practical demonstrations; developing and updating curriculum; and working collectively with our Steel Trades Department Head.
