Personal Lines Broker

Our client is a boutique insurance Broker which has developed a reputation over the past 70 years for being honest, trusted professionals who care about their clients.

The successful candidate will focus on servicing a book of long term personal lines accounts and continue to develop strong relationships.

Job Description:

• Respond to incoming calls and service the client’s needs
• Improve customer retention by providing exceptional service
• Help customers with billing related questions as well as changes to their policies
• Offer insurance advice, process changes, and enter the changes into the insurance system
• Give claims advice to clients, report claims, and follow up on claims
• Provide quotes to new clients and cross sell existing accounts

Qualifications:

• RIBO license
• 2 to 10 years’ work experience in a customer-driven environment, preferred insurance Brokerage experience
• Excellent organizational and problem solving skills
• Work well in team environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
• Computer system is Powerbroker
