Join Our Team as a Skid Steer Operator at our new MRF Recycling Facility!
We are currently seeking talented individuals to join our team at our new Material Recovery Facility (MRF) recycling facility as Skid Steer Operators.
As a Skid Steer Operator, you will play a vital role in our recycling operations. You will be responsible for operating skid steers to efficiently and safely handle materials. Join our team and be a part of our mission to create a greener future.
Responsibilities:
1. Operate skid steers to handle materials during the recycling process, including sorting, processing, and transportation
2. Safely maneuver the skid steer in tight spaces to ensure efficient material movement
3. Conduct routine maintenance checks on the equipment and promptly report any mechanical issues
4. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and cleanliness protocols
5. Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a secure working environment
6. Collaborate closely with team members to optimize productivity and enhance efficiency
Requirements:
1. Proven experience operating skid steers or similar heavy equipment
2. Possession of a valid operator's license and certifications for skid steer operation
3. Familiarity with recycling processes and materials will be advantageous
4. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
5. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety
6. Excellent communication and teamwork skills
