Insight Global is looking for a Senior Manager, Data Science and Products to join a leading retail client for a full-time opportunity. The candidate will lead the overall strategy and execution of the Data Science, Data Products and Research and Optimization function within the eCommerce vertical. They will have demonstrated experience implementing data science solutions into business processes.

As a leader, they will lead the integration of data science capabilities with functional business needs to solve tangible problems with measurable impact.

Responsibilities include building relationships and collaborating with senior leader stakeholders in Operations, Merchandising, Finance, Technology and Marketing to identify opportunities where Machine Learning, AI or other data products can resolve issues, improve efficiency or reduce costs.

Must-haves

• 8+ years experience in data science in retail or eCommerce
• 3+ years experience of people management and leadership experience
• Expertise in building machine learning predictive and optimization models
• Detail oriented; demonstrated problem-solving abilities, data interpretation skills, and analytical-mindset
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Extensive experience with technologies including SQL, R, Python, Spark, Pandas, Polars
• Comfortable working alongside and presenting complex ideas to senior stakeholders and executives
