Manager, Financial Planning & Reporting

BMI is seeking a Financial Planning & Reporting Manager who will oversee and manage various portfolio and corporate reporting streams. If you're looking to invest your time and talent with a company you can grow with, the feeling is mutual.


Principal Responsibilities:

·        Prepare, analyze, and present detailed financial reports, including forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in management reporting.

·        Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic planning and forecasting, working closely with cross-functional teams to integrate relevant data and insights.

·        Perform comprehensive financial analysis to inform strategic decision-making, including evaluating capital expenditures, investment opportunities, and portfolio performance in line with market conditions and economic factors.

·        Provide critical financial insights to business leaders, assisting in scenario projections for property transactions and supporting due diligence processes as needed.

·        Contribute to the adoption and setup of new financial technologies and undertake additional ad hoc duties to support the organization's financial health and strategic goals.

Skills:

·        Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software.

·        Intermediate to advanced financial modelling skills.

·        3+ years of financial reporting.

·        Effective communication and presentation abilities.

·        Advanced proficiency in professional Dutch.

·        Previous exposure to reporting tools/systems would be an asset (e.g., Vermillion, Tableau, Alteryx, Power BI)

Qualifications:

·        Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field

·        Professional Certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) an asset

Salary: $80,000.00-$110,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

·        This is a full-time remote position with travel in Southern Ontario required 2-4 days/month.
