About the Company:Our cilent is a partner of a globalized sheet metal processing industry that has been successfully operating for 70 days. Located in Brampton, Ontario they are growing and seeking a reliable licensed Millwright Mechanica to install, troubleshoot and repair their machinery.
This position is responsible for installing, troubleshooting and repairing lasers, plasmas, press brakes, shears, ironworkers and other machinery.
Responsibilities:- Troubleshoot, repair and maintain lasers, plasmas, press brakes, shears and other machinery
- Commissioning, start-up and training
- Keep accurate service reports
- Diagnose mechanical, and electrical problems, performing mechanical and electrical repairs, install new machines
- Instruct customer on machine operation, and maintenance and safety at customer locations
Requirements:- Trade or electrical Post Secondary Diploma
- 5+ years of Millwright or Brake/Shear Press experience (preferred)
- 3-5 years of field repair and installation experience
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driver's abstract
- Able to travel across Canada and U.S.
- Excellent communication and computer skills
- Experience in a customer service setting
- Able to read and interpret blueprint readings and electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic readings
- Must possess a mechanical and electrical background and understand electrical and mechanical drawings
- Good understanding of I/O modules, servo amplifiers and components in control cabinets
