Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up. Perform routine maintenance work on machinery. Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications. Operate machining tools to fabricate parts. Assembling machinery and equipment (prior to installation). Installing machinery and equipment. Operate hoisting and lifting equipment, Credentials, Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses. Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Trade Certification. Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Red Seal Endorsement. Forklift Operator Certification. Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Experience and specialization. Equipment and machinery experience. Automated and robotic system. Conveyor. Electrical and electronic controls. Hydraulic system, Industrial and stationary engine. Pneumatic system, Power tools, Tool grinders, Hand tools, Forklift, Area of specialization, Start-up and testing, Shutdown operations, Renovating and restoring. Rigging and handling. Troubleshooting. Centering and setting to elevation. Bearing, seals and packing. Laser levelling/aligning. Optical alignment.
