The firm has been established since 1963, they are a midsize firm located in Surrey and also have a satellite location in Kelowna with projects in civic, institutional, health care, and commercial. Their philosophy is to bring simple elegance to each building they create.
Your new role
In this role, you will be a go to person, helping mentor the junior staff providing direction and instructions. You will be a great technical thinker, passionate, and bringing expert knowledge in areas such as spec writing and building envelope. You will have technical and commercial knowledge with both the design and construction process. In this role you will be working on a range of projects from institutional, commercial, civic and healthcare.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate for this role will possess a Bachelor’s degree in architecture, architecture technology or another construction related field. You will have at least 10 years local experience. Project Management experience in an architectural capacity is required. Software skills required will be AutoCAD, MS Office and a familiarity with Revit is preferred. LEED Certification not required but considered an asset.
