Job description

Job Title: Production Manager
Location: Windsor, ON

A manufacturing company in Windsor is seeking a skilled Production Manager to oversee the operations of all production areas, ensuring that volume, cost, and quality standards are consistently met. Join our team and play a pivotal role in maximizing productivity while maintaining a strong focus on safety.

Responsibilities
- Work directly with Production Schedule and Production Supervisors to structure manufacturing activities according to customer releases, minimizing inventory while ensuring timely delivery.
- Maintain communication channels with direct reports to streamline daily operations
- Assume leadership in promoting and implementing effective health and safety practices
- Contribute insights and participate in continuous improvement and APQP meetings

Qualifications
- High School Diploma required; Post-secondary education preferred

- Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with Health and Safety legislations and automotive certification requirements
- Strong technical background with a general understanding of the the function and operation of fabricating equipment
- Proficient Computer Skills
