We are excited to announce an incredible opportunity to join our team at our new Material Recovery Facility (MRF) recycling facility. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a vital role in our mission to promote recycling and environmental conservation.
Responsibilities:
1. Safely operate a forklift to transport, stack, and organize recyclable materials within the facility
2. Load and unload shipments, ensuring the proper handling and storage of materials
3. Organize and store products in designated areas to ensure efficient flow
4. Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth workflow and maximize efficiency.
5. Conduct regular maintenance checks on the forklift and report any issues promptly
6. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment
Qualifications:
1. Valid forklift operator certification
2. Proficient in operating forklifts and other relevant equipment
3. Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
4. Excellent organizational skills to manage inventory efficiently
5. Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with colleagues
6. Familiarity with recycling processes and practices is a plus
