Our expectations
Reporting to the Manager, E-Commerce, the web designer will be a key part of the E-Commerce team. They will act as an advisor within the team on web design best practices and create designs to modify and optimize the site’s category pages.
Your role
- Participate in category revamp projects to optimize our content
- Recommend UX and design best practices in the creation of wireframes
- Design layouts for new and existing pages using existing components
- Turn wireframes and conversations into design mock-ups that will later be implemented by our integrator
- Help elaborate the visual direction of a project to shape and position ideas for customer impact
- Utilize web design best practices to optimize website usability and conversions
- Apply visual design feedback from multiple stakeholders
- Work closely with the Online team, our integrator, and the studio team
- Design while keeping in mind the overall customer journey
The qualifications we are looking for
- At least 3 to 4 years of experience in a similar role, in an e-commerce retail environment (an asset)
- Knowledge of Figma
- Good knowledge of visual and sensory systems design
- Good interaction with web and mobile design system
- Ability to follow design process and specifications documentation
- Good knowledge of UX web design best practices
- Knowledge of web accessibility
- Ability to create component-based design development
- Autonomy and good team player
