Job Description

A Day in the Life:

PRT is currently recruiting a seasonal Forest Nursery Workers to assist with the many different aspects of nursery responsibilities. Most of the work is done in a greenhouse with duties focused on seedling thinning. This engaging, high paced, physical position offers a safe work environment and an opportunity for a career that will make a positive change in the world. Candidates should have a desire and keenness to learn about the forest seedling nursery activities, work independently and efficiently. No experience required; full training provided.

About the team:

The Nursery Worker will work alongside other nursery workers under the supervision of the Nursery Lead and report to the Nursery Manager.

• Reliable transportation

• Ability to stand for lengthy periods of time and perform repetitive tasks

• Competitive hourly wage of $14.00 for the training period, compensation then transfers to piece work with greater earning potentia l.
• Work is available from February 12th to late April with an opportunity to join other projects.
