What you will be doing:
- Identifying and correcting all unsafe conditions and completing safety assessments of all work prior to starting any job
- Troubleshooting, monitoring, adjusting, maintaining and repairing manufacturing equipment and machinery throughout the production facility and completing necessary work orders accurately and on time
- Diagnosing equipment operating issues and making required repairs
- Fabricating and welding tools or equipment when required
What you will need:
- 443A Industrial Mechanic/Millwright certification preferred, candidates working towards their certification with relevant experience will be considered
- Proven experience working in and maintaining a safe work environment with intimate knowledge of LOTO procedures and other safe practices.
- Millwright skills, welding and machining experience preferred.
- Ability to properly disassemble, clean, repair and reassemble complex mechanical devices such as gearboxes, pumps and motors.
- Ability to fabricate simple parts for corrective maintenance.
- Must supply own hand tools appropriate to the equipment and environment.
