Job description
SWM Property Services is looking for a Lead Carpenter to join their team. This whistler-based construction company specialized in handyman services, renovations, new builds and project management. Jobs are throughout Whistler and Squamish, BC.
JOB TITLE:Lead Carpenter
LOCATION:Squamish & Whistler, BC
TYPE OF EMPLOYMENT:Full Time or Part Time
JOB SUMMARY:- Full-time or Part Time hours available.
- Typical schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm.
- $38 to $45 per hour depending on experience.
- Year-round work available.
THE PERFECT CANDIDATE – Qualifications & Skills:- Knowledge of construction methods and building codes.
- Proven experience as a carpenter.
- Education & training is an asset but not required for those with good experience.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Hard-working, reliable and a team-player willing to pitch in where needed.
- Understands reading and building to plans.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:- Lead Carpenter on various construction projects.
- Keep informed of the entire project scope including revisions, change orders or changes to the scope of work and the schedule.
- Lead a crew.
SCHEDULE DETAILS:- Full-time or Part Time hours available.
- Typical schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm.
SALARY / WAGE RANGE:- $38 to $45 per hour depending on experience.
