About the Role, Benefits & Perks:
- Schedule & hours: 10 hrs p/wk
- Potential to increase these hours in the future
- Preference to 2 morning per week between Monday and Thursday
- Contractor position:
- Wage: $32 to $36 per hour.
- Must be based in the PT time zone, preference for those residing in the Sea to Sky region and Vancouver.
- Fully remote position. Must provide own laptop/computer.
The Perfect Candidate:
- Passion for technology and a strong desire to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements.
- Experience providing technical support in a professional setting, preferably in a similar role.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (M365) administration and familiarity with other cloud-based productivity tools.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively interact with team members at all levels.
- Proactive mindset and willingness to take initiative in identifying and addressing IT-related challenges.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced, remote environment.
Responsibilities Include:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting hardware and software issues for our growing team spread across North America and New Zealand (currently 24 people).
- Assist with onboarding new starters to our system, including creating their Outlook and M365 profile.
- Offboard people as needed, ensuring effective management and redistribution of licenses and subscriptions.
- Own our M365 Admin centre, including user management, license assignment, and security configurations.
- Own the role out, training and adoption of new system and platforms within the organization.
- Create process documentation to support the adoption of a new system.
- Work collaboratively with the rest of the organization to identify opportunities for improving efficiency and productivity through technology.
- Stay informed about the latest technology trends and developments, particularly in the fields of AI and digital marketing.
- Ad hoc IT related projects available based on availability and interests of the
individual.
