Job description


The Roman Catholic Diocese of Saskatoon has an opportunity for interested candidates to join our pastoral center team. We are looking to hire a full-time, permanent coordinator for the Office of Migration. The position is expected to begin July 1st, 2024
Responsibilities:
To provide administrative support and formation to parishes sponsoring and resettling individuals and families
To monitor parishes/constituent groups and ensure our responsibilities of being a Sponsorship Agreement Holder are being met
To promote and encourage awareness about refugee sponsorship in the Diocese
Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience and awareness of issues around refugees and migration
Demonstrated ability to work with individuals and groups of varied backgrounds
Demonstrated experience in public speaking and adult education
High level of organizational skills with attention to detail
Completed the IET 101 Refugee Sponsorship Training Program or a willingness to do so upon joining the organization.

Compensation:
Salary in accordance with the Admin 2 Salary Grid of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Saskatoon
