Business Development Manager:
Our client is searching for a Business Development Manager to join their Management Team. This role is responsible for establishing and nurturing the relationships with builders, contractors, and other stakeholders to expand the market presence and increase sales of their products.
Your success will be defined by your ability to: - Develop and implement a strategic business development plan to target and engage various builders
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively seeking out new business opportunities
- Understand the needs and requirements of the market and tailor the products and services accordingly
- Present the range of products and furnishings to potential clients, providing product knowledge and showcasing the benefits
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to ensure win-win solutions
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create marketing materials and campaigns targeted to the builders segment
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitors to identify potential opportunities and threats
Your strengths include: - High school diploma or Post Secondary Degree
- Proven experience in business development or Direct Sales within the construction or home furnishings industry
- Strong understanding of furnishings and the needs of various builders
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
- Self-motivated and driven to achieve sales targets
- Proficient computer skills including MS Office Suite, CRM – Salesforce and smartphones
- Must maintain a professional business appearance in accordance with the company policies at all times
