Industrial Engineering Specialist

Job description
The Industrial Engineering Specialist will develop products and processes with a specialization in preroll manufacturing. You will end sure that processes are designed to manufacture product that meets the quality standards as approved through the development process. Such processes will be designed in coordination with manufacturing engineers to create scalable, reliable, and efficient manufacturing solutions.

Responsibilities - Preparation of technical briefs to detail proposed manufacturing strategies, material and equipment lists, cost analyses and estimated production costs
- Creation of product prototypes based on marketing and technical briefs
- Follow advanced product quality planning framework to embed quality processes into all products
- Develop product specifications including identification of critical control points
- Design and oversee operations scale up of new processes and product launches
- Work with manufacturing and change engineers to implement BOM changes, routings, and work center details for related change notices
- Training staff on new processes and providing work instructions
Qualifications - Engineering Degree/Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and applicable work related experience or hold a Certificate of Qualification in a related trade.
- Must have 3-5 years of troubleshooting, repairing, and improving systems
- Ability to be on-site
- Experience within the Cannabis industry and in project management are considered assets
- Management and leadership skills.
- Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Positive attitude with strong communication skills
- Required to pass a criminal background check
