With broad capabilities, including in-house graphic and structural design, platemaking, and manufacturing for retail-ready display, they provide excellence in packaging solutions to clients. Partnered with Meridia, Maritime Paper is in search of a Safety & Environment Manager to support safety and health management initiatives across Maritime Paper’s facilities.

Role Description

As the Safety & Environment Manager you will offer visible leadership by directing, coaching, and collaborating with various teams to implement safety plans and programs. The focus is on surpassing regulatory requirements and achieving safety excellence. You will be responsible for ensuring effective environmental compliance, health, safety, and sustainability programs, emphasizing risk management and the continual well-being of the Maritime Paper team members.

As a safety professional, you are someone who will proactively seek out ways to implement and improve safety programs. Your assertive approach allows you to promptly address unsafe activities or violations, showcasing a proven ability to identify and rectify hazards during job site or facility visits while providing clear direction to site personnel. Your effective communication skills play a key role in garnering organizational buy-in, and you are recognized for establishing trustful relationships across various staff levels.
