The Opportunity - Partner Consultant
As a Partner Consultant, you’re a critical member of our growing Accountant Channel. Success in the role centers around your ability to connect and collaborate with new and existing Partners of the Accounting Partner Program to ensure an optimal experience with us. On a daily basis, this looks like being the primary person responsible for finding solutions, offering resources, providing consulting, and demonstrating the value of our product, services and the partner program. Reporting to the Senior Sales Manager of the Accountant Channel, the ideal candidate enjoys meeting new people and continuously looks for opportunities to build relationships, support our partners, discuss how the platform can be beneficial to the growth and development of their practice, and share the benefits of using FreshBooks in collaboration with their clients.
NOTE: This role can be worked remotely from the above location.
What You'll Do as a Partner Consultant
- Nurture accounting professionals in the partner program by reaching out to new partners and existing partners, elevating their partner experience
- Establish a pipeline of accounting professionals using telephone, email, social media, virtual events and in person meetings at Partner Events.
- Forecasting and managing sales opportunities in Salesforce
- Work your outbound cadences and make up to 30+ touch points a day with partners
- Meet and exceed your monthly quota of client upgrades and revenue targets
- Conducting platform demonstrations for prospective FreshBooks clients
- Build trusted relationships with accounting professionals in the program and enthusiastically support their use of FreshBooks with their clients
- Consult with partners in the program, providing them with assistance, resources, education, practice development consulting, creative solutions and a listening ear
- Work across departments including the marketing, product, and support teams to ensure proper and successful implementation, and ensure that accountant feedback is received and responded to internally
- Operate as an advocate and an ambassador for the accounting partner program, both within the company and within the accounting industry
What You'll Bring to the Role
- 2-3 years of B2B consultative sales experience, preferably in the accounting industry, with a proven track record of overachieving quotas and holding an undergraduate degree
- The ideal candidate should be adept at managing a high volume of outbound and inbound activities, possess a natural knack for reaching out to new leads, demonstrate strong ownership alongside adaptability, and consistently exceed goals
- Experience using a CRM such as Salesforce or Hubspot
- Adept at adjusting “on the fly” in order to meet partner requirements while demonstrating strong business acumen and a commitment to delivering a top-tier partner experience.
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent presentation skills (online and in person)
- Occasional travel will be required for this role
- Readiness to be present at the office when necessary
You'll Stand Out If You Bring Experience In
- Experience in bookkeeping, accounting, SaaS and/or payments processing industries
- A passion for the cloud accounting industry and utilizing technology to enhance the relationships between accounting professionals and business owners
