General Information:
The mandate of Human Resources (HR) is to help Hitachi Energy stand out when it comes to employees - from talent and performance management to rewarding career opportunities. Internship duration: 4 months
Start date: May 1st, 2024.
End date: August 23rd, 2024.
Work location: Montreal Campus, St. Laurent.
Remote option will be considered depending on the geographical location of the candidate.
Responsibilities:
Take ownership of an HR talent management project during the term.
Analyze, create business cases, and recommend next steps for talent management related initiatives including performance management and succession planning.
Identify opportunities to improve and streamline existing processes and procedures based on customer feedback and experience.
Present findings to groups of key stakeholders leveraging strong influencing skills and being open to receive feedback.
Provide high quality HR support to internal customers (the HR community, business unit leaders and employees) with accurate and timely processing of information.
Coordinate various HR programs and perform administrative tasks related to various departments.
Qualifications:
Student in Human Resources. preference for 4th year but 3rd year will also be considered.
Very good knowledge of the Microsoft Office environment (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and French.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams and diverse employee groups.
Collaborate with a solution-oriented attitude.
Highly organized with the ability to coordinate multiple projects with tight deadlines.
Desirable Skills
Knowledge of HR talent management methodologies and practices.
